Safeway for Education eScrip Program

Hello to All -

I am writing on behalf of the Sultan High School Music Parents (we support the "Award Winning" SHS Marching Band and Music/Drama program at the school).

We have registered our non-profit group with the Safeway for Education eScrip program. It also includes these other grocery stores:
VONS, PAVILIONS, GENUARDI'S and CARRS

It is a great fundraiser. For example: when a person (that has their Safeway club card registered to our group) shops at Safeway and uses their Safeway club card (or telephone number), Safeway automatically donates a minimum of 1% of the sales to our group. You are supporting our group by grocery shopping!! It is not an expense to you, it is Safeway's donation program. It does not matter where the store is located as long as they take either Safeway, Vons, Pavilions, Genuardi's, or Carrs club cards. It is a national program.

Even if you think "I don't really shop at Safeway, Vons, Pavilions, Genuardi's and Carrs" that's ok, because if you only shop once (maybe while on vacation) and only spend a little, it all adds up when there is a large group of supporters. For example, the small town of Orting, their school supporters made $12,000.00. So the more signed up the better!!!

So here it is - how to sign up - it is so easy. Just email me:

• Your Name
• Address
• Telephone
• Safeway Club Card number

Then I can register your club card number for you. That's it, now all you have to do is shop and you are supporting the SHS music students. Now isn't that Great. Feel free to email it (zip2cw@hotmail.com) or call me at home 360-793-0776.

If you can not find your card, Safeway has a toll free number and they will give you your number.

Safeway's toll-free number: 1-877-safeway, then press 1 (for English), then 0 (for operator). When I called, all they asked was for my birthday to verify it was me. It took about 3 minutes. I also checked and found out I had two cards registered to my phone number. My husband had also registered.

If when you shop at Safeway you key in your phone number and do not use your card, please confirm with them that your Safeway club card (if you have more than one card that both cards) is/are designated to your phone number. That way if you use your phone number or card(s) - the music boosters will get credit for it.

We need your support so please sign up for the Safeway for Education eScrip program with the Sultan Music Parents. Spring marching season started Wednesday (3/21) they are doing songs of the 80's. They also have a concert this coming Wednesday (3/28) night. This is a great group of teenagers and as parents we have a lot of fun spending time with them.
