Sultan High School Music Parents Association Meeting Minutes

Tuesday, January 10th, 2012

Meeting called to order 7:05 p.m.

Board Members Present: Melissa McNaughton, Michelle Aide, Molly Olson & Coleen McCollough

Treasurer's Report:

Molly Olson presented presented the balance as $22,976.22

Announcements:

Brian needs dads to help with the props for the play. Need a table and benches, church building, staircase, bedroom, collapsible bed wagon-not a real one, snow machine, burlap bags, Styrofoam snowballs, stumps, red gingham and many more things just contact him or Sumpter. There will be a work party on January 21st starting at 9:00 to help with props and to tear apart the band uniforms and get them to the cleaners.

Old Business:

We put a hold on the side rails, awning and the back door on the trailer. Musical costume team is Molly and Michelle. Jazz Dessert is on January 28th. 4th street cleanup is on the 21st at 1:00-Alice Rowley is in charge. Coffee house is coming up on February 4th.

New Business:

Anyone can now call the Sky River Bakery and pay for a dozen cookies that will be served at the musical concession stand. Patty will set up a table for the escripts sign ups at the play.

Sumpter Says:

Jill is looking into the Portland Star Light parade for another activity for spring marching band. It is on the 2nd of June 2012.

Reminders:

The next meeting is February 7th, 2012 at 7:00.
